As you enjoy the wine and food and celebrate the harvest, you will be helping the children of City Hearts. Founded in 1984 by Sherry & Bob Jason, City Hearts works to change and enhance the lives of our community's most impoverished and at-greatest-risk children through the power and educational enhancement of the arts.
About the property: Nestled deep in the heart of Malibu's Santa Monica Mountains is the sprawling 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch, home of Malibu Family Wines. Visitors may recognize the vineyard and unusual rock formations from one of more than 110 movies and television shows that have used Saddlerock Ranch as an incredible location for stars like Gary Cooper, Burt Lancaster, and recently Eddie Murphy and Steven Seagal. Saddlerock Ranch also offers a full equestrian center with boarding, training, and miles of scenic trails. In addition to horses, there are many other exotic animals inhabiting the property, including llamas, camels, miniature horses and donkeys, zebras, emus, ostriches, macaws and peacocks. |
